This is a simple mindfulness meditation for beginners.
We use a a technique that is great for beginners but people who have much experience might find it useful.
When a thought comes up to distract us, we say the thought in our mind and place it on a leaf in a slow moving river.
This techique enables us to distance oursselves from the thought and return to the breath.
